Fearless by Max Lucado
Fearless by Max Lucado is one of those books that hit the shelves right at our country’s time of greatest needs. We are surrounded by fear everyday both external and internal. We face external pressures of terrorism, finances, hunger, sickness, death and many more. We also have internal fears that we carry on a daily basis such as worry, doubt, confusion, and stress. I really enjoyed the way that the chapters were laid out in the book. Max Lucado put a different spotlight in each chapter on the major fears that we face.
I think this book can provide a lot of hope and encouragement to those who are feeling the pressures of life caving in around them. This book will help you to see your difficulties from God’s point of view. Max takes the time in each chapter to give you an example direct from Scripture that you can relate to. One of the quotes that i enjoyed the most was this:
“Facing storms in life is not an option, but fearing them is…”
Your situation may not change after reading this book, but your perspective will. Take some time to read Fearless, you will be glad that you did.
